Constructed to compliment its surroundings the concept of the Manu Learning Centre (MLC) incorporates key objectives such as impact minimisation of the site on the local environment and the promotion of sustainable resource management. The MLC uses a variety of technologies, such as gravity fed water pumps, solar energy panels and environmentally sound septic systems to help acheive tese goals.
The staff at the MLC include a full-time bilingual and first aid
trained manager and scientific
coordinator dedicated to project managment.
